Use Vaseline just before you go to bed, and after a bath or a shave. Put steroid cream on and wait for 1 minute, then apply Vaseline. Do this before you go to bed, to allow the steroid cream to do its job properly without any outside influences. You can apply Vaseline on the body in the morning, but don't put Vaseline on your face.
