Shaving

Shaving

Shaving has become increasingly difficult to do for eczema sufferers. It's taken me years to find a product and technique that works for me.

A few things in life, you need to learn the hard way. I used to buy dozens of shaving foams and all them irritated me.

I was recommended by a friend from work to try KingShaves. I went to the chemist the next day and asked for KingShaves. The assistant said, "We don't have any in stock, but we do have Lab Series For Men Mega Foam for people with sensitive skin". I bought the product, because I had to have a shave that evening and I was pleasantly surprised. My skin felt fine with no irritation or red itchy skin.

How to shave probably and get the most out of shaving products:

To shave you need Lab Series or a shaving product that suits you, and 3-5 blade razors. Don't worry about spending extra for better quality razors. I have a solution that will allow you to use just one razor numerous times.

Step By Step Guide:

  1. Splash water over your face, don't get water near the eyes and forehead.
  2. Smother Lab Series on your face, and leave to set for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Shave up, underneath the chin first. Only do one strip at a time, and then put the tape on fast and put the blade under the tape to get the foam/hairs off the blade. If you do it this way, you can use one blade over and over again.
  4. Shave down, on the cheeks and near the mouth.
  5. Splash water over your face and then pat dry with a towel.
  6. Apply an ointment thinly on your face.
