Is your bed clean enough to sleep in?

Your bed is the most important place in the whole household. You spend 7-11 hours a day relaxing and sleeping in your bed, so you need to keep your bed clean. You may be aware of dustmites and bedbugs, both of these horrid creatures are harmful to your skin. Your Skin shed about 450,000 particles of skin each hour. On average you shed 4,000,000 particles of skin every night. This is why it is important to stay on top of bedding hygiene.

It is useful for you to use a double layer system. What that means is you need to have two pillow covers and bed sheets one over the other covered up. You will avoid oil and dirt to penetrate through and ruin the mattress and you're the pillows.

It is very important to clean your bed. You have to remove all the bedding from your bed. You need wash to your sheets, blankets, mattress covers and pillow cases at a high temperature of at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You should change all your bedding once every ten days.

I recommend vacuuming your mattress once every fortnight on the side you have been sleeping on, and then turn the mattress over to sleep on the other side of the mattress.

If you stay on top of your bedding hygiene you will feel better in bed, which will result in a better night sleep and healthier skin.
